Steamtown Travel Planner
Steamtown National Historic Site was created by an act of Congress in 1986 to preserve and interpret the history of steam railroading. The National Park Service tells the story of railroading through Living History and interpretive programs, a working locomotive shop and roundhouse, educational outreach programs, seasonal short tours of the yard by train, seasonal excursions to Moscow, Pennsylvania, and occasional special excursions.
The Park is open daily from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. year-round, closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years Days.
