Minneapolis boasts a multitude of restaurants, broadway plays, sports arenas and a pedestrian shopping boulevard. Aptly named the City of Lakes, Minneapolis contains over twenty lakes within the city limits and a great many more in the surrounding suburbs.

Minneapolis is the place to go for shopping. The city and its surroundings are home to the nation's first enclosed mall at Southdale Center and the country's largest enclosed shopping and entertainment center: Mall of America. Downtown Minneapolis contains many small shops and specialty boutiques. Best of all, Minnesota has no sales tax!
