The Downtown Theater District, contains the Marcus Center for the Performing Arts, where visitors can find performing organizations such as the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra, Florentine Opera, and the Milwaukee Ballet. The Milwaukee Repertory Theater, the jewel box Pabst Theater, Renaissance Theaterworks, the Riverside Theater, and nationally celebrated African dance company, Ko-Thi are also located in this district.
