Indiana Parks Travel Planner
Indiana contains sites that represent two true american heroes. One is known around the world. The other is perhaps not as well known.
Abraham Lincoln spent his formative years here, growing to manhood on a southern Indiana
farm.
Very near to this is the site where Lt. Colonel George Rogers Clark and his men captured Fort Sackville from the British in 1779. Many consider Clark's victory here to be one of the greatest feats of the American Revolution.
For nature enthusiasts, Indiana Dunes provides a perfect getaway spot within easy reach of the Chicago area.
