It all comes together at Gold Beach. Located in Southwest Oregon, Gold Beach is where the Rogue River meets the Pacific Ocean. Visitors will find an vast array of recreational activities set against at truly awe inspiring background. Miles of beaches offer chances for fishing, surfing, and beachcombing. Jet boats tour up and down the river and there are also many opportunities for river fishing, camping and hiking.

Finally, the mountains around Gold Beach contain a rich variety of plants and animals as well as some of the last remaing old growth forest in the world. Here visitors can enjoy hiking, bird and animal watching, or they can just enjoy a quiet picnic under some shade trees.
While in Gold Beach, be sure to pay a visit to the Jetty Cats. This group of feral cats lives in a beach front community of "cat condos" erected by local residents. These cats not only have stylish homes, but they also live in a great neighborhood!
