Located at the foot of the Rocky Mountains, Denver is one of the fastest growing cities in America. In contrast to some other Western cities, Denver has a well-defined downtown area that is within walking distance of many of the city's major attractions.
These include the US Mint, The Denver Art Museum, and the Colorado History Musem. Visitors to the downtown area will also find many shops, restaurants and nightspots. At the center of it all is a mile long pedestrian mall with a great many parks and plazas. The downtown area also houses Six Flags Elitch Gardens, as well as several excellent brew pubs.
Overall, Denver is a very clean and very green city. The city contains over 200 parks, which serve to soften the skyscraper if it's skyline.
Whatever your interests, Denver is definitely worth a visit.
